The Verde River Sheep Bridge is a historic steel truss bridge spanning the Verde River in Arizona. Constructed in 1947, it was designed to facilitate the movement of sheep herds across the river for grazing purposes. Its unique cantilevered design allowed for large numbers of animals to cross safely.
