Huilua Fishpond is one of the largest and best-preserved ancient Hawaiian fishponds on Oahu. It features massive stone walls, some over 20 feet thick, designed to trap fish for sustainable harvesting. The pond complex includes sluice gates, a makaha, and a stone causeway.
