Arlington House, also known as the Custis-Lee Mansion, is a grand neoclassical villa situated on a bluff overlooking the Potomac River. Once home to Confederate General Robert E. Lee, it now serves as a memorial to the Union soldiers buried in the adjacent Arlington National Cemetery.
