Arlington House, also known as the Robert E. Lee Memorial, is a Greek Revival mansion overlooking the Potomac River and Washington D.C. It was the ancestral home of Confederate General Robert E. Lee and his wife, Mary Anna Custis Lee, the great-granddaughter of Martha Washington.
